Japanese ADSL- provider Acca Networks has organized a joint venture with telecom operator NTT DoCoMo, to begin to provide high-speed wireless Internet access, based on WiMax technology. In this way the company wants to expand its customer base of broadband subscribers.
The company Acca Networks to invest in new plant, costing 620 million. USD 259 million. dollars (and will own 40% shares), and NTT DoCoMo will own 26% of the company.
